Creamy Frozen Milk Popsicles
These homemade frozen milk popsicles are creamy, refreshing, and incredibly easy to make. With just a few basic ingredients, you can make a delicious frozen treat without an ice cream maker.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (480 ml) whole milk
- ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- ½ cup (120 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar, optional
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Make the Milk Mixture
Pour the milk into a large bowl.
Add the heavy cream, condensed milk, milk powder, vanilla, and a small pinch of salt.
Whisk vigorously until everything is completely smooth and the milk powder has dissolved.
Taste the mixture and add powdered sugar if you want it sweeter.
2. Make It Extra Creamy
For an especially smooth texture, blend the mixture for 30–45 seconds.
This incorporates a little air and helps distribute the milk powder evenly.
3. Fill the Molds
Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving about ½ inch of space at the top because the mixture will expand as it freezes.
Insert the popsicle sticks.
4. Freeze
Place the molds in the freezer for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
Make sure the freezer is set to approximately 0°F (-18°C) or colder.
5. Remove the Popsicles
Run the outside of the mold under warm water for 10–15 seconds.
Gently pull the popsicle upward.
Don’t force it, or the stick may come out without the popsicle.
