Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is an incredibly easy comfort-food dinner that gives you all the flavors of traditional lasagna without the work of boiling noodles or layering individual ingredients. Frozen ravioli, hearty meat sauce, and plenty of melted cheese slowly cook together until bubbly, tender, and delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jar (24-ounce) marinara sauce
- 1 package (25-ounce) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley or basil, optional
Instructions
1. Brown the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and diced onion.
Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is tender, breaking the meat apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds.
Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
2. Start Layering
Lightly grease a 6-quart slow cooker.
Spread a small amount of the meat sauce over the bottom.
Add a layer of frozen ravioli, followed by more meat sauce and a layer of mozzarella.
Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, finishing with sauce and plenty of cheese on top.
Sprinkle the Parmesan over the final layer.
3. Slow Cook
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours, or until the ravioli are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Avoid cooking much longer than necessary, as the ravioli can become overly soft.
4. Rest and Serve
Turn off the slow cooker a
