Pizza Bubble Bake is an easy, cheesy casserole that combines fluffy biscuit dough, savory pizza sauce, melty mozzarella, and your favorite pizza toppings. Everything bakes together until the biscuit pieces are golden on top and soft, cheesy, and flavorful underneath. It’s a fun family dinner that gives you all the comforting flavors of pizza without making a traditional crust.
Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1½ cups pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- ½ cup cooked Italian sausage, crumbled
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms, optional
- ½ cup diced bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Cut the Biscuits
Separate the refrigerated biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Place the pieces in a large mixing bowl.
3. Add the Pizza Ingredients
Pour the pizza sauce over the biscuit pieces. Add the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, cooked sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
Gently toss everything together until the biscuit pieces and toppings are evenly coated.
4. Assemble the Bake
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top and drizzle with melted butter.
5. Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the biscuit pieces are cooked through and the top is golden brown and bubbling with melted cheese.
If the top begins browning too quickly while the center is still cooking, loosely cover the dish with aluminum foil.
6. Rest and Serve
Allow the Pizza Bubble Bake to rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. This gives the cheese and sauce a chance to settle.
Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
