🦐 Ingredients
For the Potato Pan
- 1½ lbs (680 g) baby potatoes, halved
- 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz (225 g) white fish, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz (225 g) smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 ears corn, cut into pieces, or 1½ cups corn kernels
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay-style seafood seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges, for serving
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Lightly grease a large baking sheet or roasting pan.
2. Season the Potatoes
Place the halved potatoes, onion, bell pepper, and corn in a large bowl.
Add the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
Toss thoroughly until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the mixture in a single layer on the baking sheet.
3. Roast the Potatoes
Roast for approximately 25–30 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
The potatoes should begin to become tender and develop golden edges.
4. Prepare the Seafood Butter
While the potatoes cook, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, seafood seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
Add the shrimp and fish to the bowl.
Toss gently until coated.
5. Add the Seafood and Sausage
Remove the pan from the oven.
Add the sliced smoked sausage and seasoned seafood mixture to the potatoes.
Spread everything evenly across the pan.
Return to the oven and bake for another 10–15 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and the fish flakes easily.
The seafood should be cooked through; avoid overcooking the shrimp.
6. Finish the Pan
Remove from the oven and sprinkle generously with fresh parsley.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over everything.
For an extra buttery finish, drizzle with another tablespoon of melted butter before serving.
🧈 Optional Garlic Butter Sauce
For an especially indulgent version, melt together:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon seafood seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Drizzle the warm sauce over the finished seafood potato pan.
⭐ Tips for the Best Seafood Potato Pan
- Cut potatoes into similar-sized pieces so they cook evenly.
- Give the potatoes a head start because seafood cooks much faster.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan; spreading everything out helps it roast instead of steam.
- Add the shrimp toward the end to keep them tender.
- Fresh lemon juice balances the richness of the garlic butter.
- For extra heat, add cayenne pepper or more red pepper flakes.
